Chemo, Other Drug Prices Driven Up by 340B-Eligible Hospitals, Data Show

An analysis of Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) claims found that hospitals eligible for discounts under the federal 340B Drug Pricing Program marked up prices for physician-administered drugs, including chemotherapy, while keeping a large portion of total insurer spending for patients with private insurance.
